Smurfs News

Today we’ve placed a sample order for some plush smurfs as mentioned previously. We will be receiving the following plush smurfs very soon: -

15cm Regular Smurf
15cm Papa Smurf
25cm Baby Smurf
7.5″ Musical Papa Smurf
7.5″ Musical Regular Smurf
10″ Musical Papa Smurf
10″ Musical Regular Smurf
20″ Musical Papa Smurf
20″ Musical Regular Smurf

This is all old shop stock which originally came with batteries. We will be removing any batteries that haven’t already been removed to ensure there are no problems with leakage. Obviously the musical smurfs will be tested to ensure they are fully working prior to selling them.

Some of these points had me howling with laughter, especially Gargamel trying on potato sacks. I don’t somehow think we are going to see these scenes in the new Smurf Movies though!

Matt, one of our forum members on Blue Cavern - The Smurf Community mentioned this week that he had read about Carla Bonner (aka Steph in Neighbours) being a smurf collector. I wonder if there are any other celebrity smurf collectors out there? I am sure Elton John would make a great collector of smurfs! If you know of any celebrity smurfs fans then please leave your comments below!

Thinking again about the Smurf Movie I can really see Robbie Williams in the part of Jokey Smurf and maybe Mike Myers in one of the other blue roles!
