Update about the British Smurf Collectors Club
A few months ago we announced that we have taken over the British Smurf Collectors Club from Terry & Irene Anderson. We are currently going through a lot of old records and trying to computerise them. We are also looking into having an online membership join-up form. In addition to all this we need to sort out new stationery for the club as the current stationery still has the old club address on it. What we don’t want to do is rush things, we are trying to think things through properly, establish what members want from a club, etc. We also need to integrate the club with our current online newsletter, so there is a lot to think about!
One of the main things we would like to achieve with the club is to be able to put smurf collectors in touch with other collectors, if this is what they want. We would like to help organise swap meets where collectors can meet up to trade their smurfs.
We are still getting a lot of support from Terry & Irene who very much want to see the club continue to provide good information about smurfs.
If you are already a member of the old club and have access to email then it would be helpful if you could contact us with your email address, as many of the records have postal addresses only. As anyone who placed an order was automatically made a member of the old club, there are thousands of records to go through and some customers may have been one time buyers buying for a gift and not particularly interested in being a member. So if you are still interested in being an active member then please do drop us a line using our contact form below.

If you can’t use the contact form for some reason then please email sales then the @ sign kittyscavern.com (written this way so spammers don’t pick up our email address from this blog entry!).
If you are interested in being a regional representative for the smurf collectors club, then this could be very helpful to ensure collectors get the most out of their club. Please do email us if you would like to be a contactable representative for your county, state, locality, etc.
We are trying to decide on a new design for the stationery at the moment and would welcome any ideas.
Please note that although this is now known as the British Smurf Collectors Club, we don’t want to step on the toes of other smurf clubs!, we do already have lots of international members and the club will be open to smurf collectors everywhere.
We welcome your input and hope to start things moving along very soon! Thank you for your patience!

Online Shopping Security Is As Simple As 1, 2, 3.
Because almost everyone seems to have a computer, it is surprising that there are still so many people who are afraid to shop online. And who can blame them? With all the scares of identity theft, credit card numbers stolen, personal information hacked…
