Kitty’s Cavern does not currently carry any affiliate links. Nothing on this site earns a commission today, and no link on it is tracked by a marketplace or retailer.
The planned model
The site is being built with a plan to join the eBay Partner Network and Amazon Associates once the guides are complete and the owner has approved it. Under those programs, some links from a figure’s entry to that marketplace would be affiliate links. If you clicked one and bought something, the site might receive a small commission from the marketplace at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you arrive through the link or not.
What will not change
- Identification. Which figure a stamp, pose or paint variant points to is decided by the evidence, never by whether a listing is available to link to.
- Sale samples. The sold prices behind a range are chosen by the rules on the price method page. A sale is never included or left out because of where it took place or whether a link would earn anything.
- Rarity and value statements. Nothing is called rare or valuable to make a link more tempting.
- Editorial independence. No retailer, marketplace or rights holder has any say over what the guides say.
When links go live
If affiliate links are switched on, this page will be rewritten before the first link appears. It will name each program, use the wording each program requires and say how affiliate links are marked in the guides. The privacy page will be updated at the same time to describe any tracking the links involve. Until then, treat every link on the site as a plain link.
